"Rival" is a combination of the very best of our genetics.  12 yrs of line breeding has gone into her creation and we feel that she is a very strong representative of our herd. She is indeed a beauty to rival her dam!

Rival's Dam
2001 All American Two Year Old!

After finishing her championship as a 2 yr old 1st freshener we could not possibly predict what "Rival's" dam, "Florin" would do for us this year as such a young challenger doe.  "Florin" has not been one to let us down however.  She has already added 6 Best of Breed & 2 Best Doe In Show wins to her credit this year.

Rival's Sire

While Care to Dance is a young buck, his pedigree speaks volumes.  His dam, maternal grand-dam, maternal grand-sire, 3 paternal 1/2 sister, and 1 paternal 1/2 brother are all finished champions!  As a yearling he was shown 5 X.  2 X 1st & 3 X 2nd.

Rival's Maternal Grand-dam

"Goldie" was my very first homebred champion and her offspring have been nothing to sneeze at either.  Her son CH (pending) *B Celtic-Knot TT Gold Talisman has just rejoined our herd as our senior herd sire.  Goldie took Best Doe in Show in 2001 but due to a late breeding season  she has not been shown yet this year. Pictured here at 6 years old!

Rival's Paternal Grand-dam

"Lavendar" is a very large correct doe.  She excels in dairy character being a very sharp angular type of doe.  She has proven herself both in the show ring and as a brood doe.  Her daughters Dance, & Heartsong already have one leg each.

Rival's Maternal Grand-sire & Paternal Great-Grand-sire
2001 Reserve All American Aged Buck!!!

As I mentioned earlier we have used line breeding to create a very consistently correct animal.  Tombstone is one of the keys to our success.  He is an exceptional buck and his offspring all have his extreme style, grace, stretch, and levelness.

Pictured here at nine years old!!!

Rival's Maternal Great-Grand-dam

Yes the consistency and beauty continues even back to this grand lady.  Snowfire is still residing in our herd at 13 yrs old.  She earned 2 championship legs & has 2 champion sons.

Pictured here at 8 years old!!!

Rival's Paternal Great-Grand-dam

Miranda contributed much of her strength in style, stretch, and smoothness to our herd.

Rival's Sire's Litter Sister

"Heartsong" is a very correct doe and easily earned her dry leg as an Intermediate kid in 2001.
