"Snowfire" passed away at the ripe ol' age of 14. She was a fantastic doe who was only campaigned as a young doe. We firmly believe that if her show career had been continued she would easily have finished her championship Her offspring include GCH Tombstone, CH Celtic-Knot XL Phoenix Rising FS 89, Celtic-Knot Sky Dancer FS 86 and CH Thunder Road Last Thunder FS 86.

Lavendar's daughter Joyful-Morn DL Candy Heart - 5 months old		Showing is not a favorite pass time for Lavendar so for the most part she enjoys her days ruling the roost, a well deserved rest for her. She has proven herself in the show ring, milk pail, and linear appraisal. She was taken to the 2003 LaMancha Specialty where as a 6 yr old doe, she was named Best Of Breed with 51 milking LaManchas competing. She was also part of the 1st place Breeders Trio, 2nd place Sr. Dam & Daughter and 2nd place Sr. Get of Sire. It was well worth the wait as she took BOB & BDIS with 149 senior does competing at the very first show of the year in 2005. A tremendously sound, solid doe who has shown her worth in the show ring, milk pail, and in progeny. Goldie's daughter GCH 4M Celtic-Knot TT Symphony Florin was dam to two spotlight sale kids, milked 12.2 on a one day test as a 5 yr old and has been multiple BOB and BDIS! Goldie's son CH B Celtic-Knot TT Gold Talisman was an exceptionally stylish buck with lovely progeny. Goldie's son B Celtic-Knot XL Gold Buccaneer's daughters are showing marked improvement in many areas over their dams. He has improved rear udder height and width, teat placement, and fore udder extension. Goldie and her daughter Florin combined to create a very formidable Dam & Daughter for the 2002 & 2003 show season. Florin is an amazingly smooth, level, stylish doe with an excellent rear udder. Lots of width and height even at 7 yrs old! She has very shapely teats that are well set on her mammary. She has been a very competitive doe in the show ring earning her championship as a first freshening 2 yr old. She was also the All American 2 yr old in 2001. Heartsong's 2003 daughter, Joyful-Morn CD Brocade (Katy)		"Heartsong" matured into an exceptional doe. Typical of the Excel daughters she is strong, deep, & sports an exceptional mammary, just an overall pleasure to view. She earned her restricted leg as an Intermediate kid taking BJDIS. Heartsong was a multiple Reserve Champion doe in heavy competition. Unfortunately Heartsong miscarried and suffered severe pain and trauma in January 2006. She passed away February 4, 2006 She will always be missed!

Beth is quite a large productive doe. She has lots of substance of bone, and very flat widely spaced ribbing. Beth does not love the show ring and has never been shown to any extent but as is represented in her linear appraisal scores she has some lovely qualities. She is a very consistent milker, even with a single birth this year she peaks out at 15+lbs. Her '05 daughter, Celtic-Knot E Prima Ballerina was shown 4 times by my son, Daniel. She was 1 X 7th out of 14, 1 X 3 out of 4, 2 X 1st and 1 X Grand Champion. "Beth" is my oldest son, Daniel's love. She is a character in the pen and very possessive of children, always guarding them from any silly yearlings that might think about even sniffing their way:-) That being said Daniel is building his LaMancha herd with her daughters and selling any of her extra kids to make progress with his new herd of Nubians. This year (2007) Beth blessed Daniel with a doe kid to add to his own herd. Lorna's promising show career was cut short. However we feel that she was an exceptional animal and had the promise of finishing her championship in her future.		Independence is just that, she struts her stuff and loves to show her beauty. This year as a second freshener she has already earned a second leg toward her championship and classified 91! Indy, was a very competitive 2 yr old, first freshener. Consistently at the top of her class. She was shown both days at the NEODGA weekend in June '03, as an Intermediate kid. She took Jr Champion with 22 does competing on Saturday. Sunday was the 2003 District IV LaMancha Specialty she turned around and took Jr Champion with 40 does competing! But that was not enough for her, she was also named Best Jr. Doe in Show with a total of 130 does competing!!! We are thrilled with Indy's lovely mammary. Indy has earned her championship this year as a three year old. She was GCH and BOB under Sheila Nixon and GCH under Todd Biddle. "Indy" was bred to: Celtic-Knot CKGD Sassy's Bravo Kidded: March 28, 2007 Triplets, two does and one buck. Doe Kid Retained Thank you to: Amy Keckler-Ohio for the '06 purchase of Indy's doeling. "Ivy" was a very balanced doe with a very capacious udder. Ivy was able to break the trend of excellent "bridesmaid" (Many Reserve Champion Wins to Her Credit) to making a fabulous Bride!!! "Ivy" was named Grand Champion and Best of Breed at the 2002 District IV LaMancha Specialty. Unfortunately Ivy suffered a severe case of Ketosis was no longer able competing in the show ring. Her multiple offspring have proven her worth as a brood doe. Ivy passed away 6-16-05 after a long fight with liver damage. She is dearly missed. Pictured at left is Ivy as a 3yr old. She is eating at one of our show stanchions. The headlock, and legs come off of the platform making it easy to transport to shows.
